Talk show Program “Islam itu Indah” on Trans TV is a spiritual talk show for Muslims. The arrangement of the event in a talk show broadcast every after dawn this is the awarding of the Islamic Center, main resource a resource person to present the guests to share life experiences, interactive sessions well with viewers at home, as well as the conclusions distudio and concludes with a prayer. In this research teorii used is the theory uses & gratifications because basically every human being has a basic need and it makes them actively choose the mass media to meet his needs. Including when viewers chose the talk show program “Islam Itu Indah” on Trans TV to meet the needs of spiritual. Those needs are information needs, personal identity, integration and social interaction, and the need to escape the tension (entertainment). Withdrawal of samples that are used in this research is the cluster random sampling, which can be done through the 3 stages. The first phase, conducted the draw randomly (random) towards research areas in the city of Surabaya. Second, do the draw randomly in the subdistrict and last made the draw randomly at the level of the village. The sample in this study is part of the overall Viewership/housewife who resides in the city of Surabaya and have jobs outside the home or career. After processing the data, then it can be inferred that the motives that drove housewives in watching talk show “Islam Is Beautiful” on Trans TV is personal identity motives, and integration of information and social interaction. However the highest motive is identity personal motives. While the motive entertainment is low, due to the entertainment needs of housewives prefer to watch the show comedy, sitcoms and infotainment
